As every year, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy (MAECI) is responsible for awarding Italian government scholarships to Italian citizens and foreign students. The MAECI Scholarship is for Master’s and Doctorate programs at Italian Public Universities. Through this scholarship, the Italian Government aims to promote the Italian language and culture.
Participants can apply for this 9-month funded scholarship if they apply for admission to any Italian public university. Thus, this Scholarship will provide them with coverage for their Tuition Fees, Free Tuition, Medical Insurance and Monthly Allowance to cover their expenses. Eligibility criteria for the Italian Government Scholarship
- Applicants for a master’s program must have completed a bachelor’s degree.
- Be 28 years old or younger at the time of applying for the master’s program.
- If you are applying for a PhD program, you must not be older than 30 years of age at the time of application.
- The applicant must demonstrate his/her English language proficiency, through IELTS or any other language certificate, which demonstrates English language proficiency.
